A London Photographer in Aira Force
The photos will really do the talking here, but this was my first ever trip to Aira Force. A place filled with beautiful waterfalls, rainbows, babbling brooks, mossy rocks and apparently rare red squirrels! I was gutted not to have spotted any of the copper coated cuties, but that is the only ‘fomo’ I experienced.
An ever changing landscape
Seasonally speaking, I enjoyed the winter-sun vibes, but I would love to return in the summer to see how different the speckled light on the ground is when the views are sheltered under luscious green and full tree tops, differently to the skeletal branches that are withholding leaves until spring that I happened to capture this time.
Dog friendly, but would I take an anxious dog?
This place is a must see for anybody visiting the area, and anyone that wants to experience England in all it’s might! It took about 2 hours to walk around and is dog friendly too. I’m not sure I would take my own dog as he doesn’t care for other dogs approaching him whilst he is on a lead. Some dogs their roamed free off the leash, and some not. There were some very narrow paths with myself and dog owner having to brush shoulders next to nauseatingly steep drops, and would be the last place I would want a scrap to break out. So a heads up to anybody who has a dog with similar personalities! Perhaps save walkies for somewhere more open!
