10 Reasons to Visit The Most Curious Wedding Fair

Hi there!

I’m a London wedding photographer (and also cover most of the UK!) and I want to tell you why you should visit The Most Curious Wedding Fair if you are getting married!

1. Meet the makers

The internet is a God send and all, but nothing is better when crème de la crème of wedding vendors have been curated and are under one roof and available to provide instant answers to your questions.

2. Try on garments without having to hop all over the city from one shop to another

Convenience and time saving is everything when wedding planning.

3. Get unique inspiration from the catwalk

See a selection of designer’s masterpieces in action from the comfort of velvet sofas whilst sipping on champers. If you are itching for inspiration right now, then there’s always my ideas section here on my website.

4. Free cake!

Who doesn’t like free cake? Go and taste the samples of what could be your wedding cake and if it’s not to be, you still got to eat cake.

5. It’s not like any other show and you’re not like any other bride

When I visited the show, I was truly impressed to see all the eclectic vibrant mixes of creative wedding professionals. Back when I first set out at wedding photography, I mistakenly jumped in blind and headed to a well-known mainstream tradeshow. I was full of regret because I had no connection there and my soul felt violated! If only I had known, I would never of wasted my time or money.

Learn from me, if you like alternative and creative, well designed produce of any kind, stick to the more independent shows like this one!

6. Make new friends

Meeting face to face is priceless and unusual in the internet age we are in. Personally I took quite a shine to a few faces on my visit and I so hope to see them again and perhaps even work with one day!

7. A reason to visit a must-see London hotspot

The MCWF in London took place this year (2019) at the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. Not only will you get a day of wedding planning and research done, you can venture for food, drinks and maybe a spot of shopping in the famous cultural hot spot! The show has another one coming up in Norwich on 24th March 2019, so there’s a chance for some fresh air if you’re feeling it!

8. Things you never thought of!

There are hundreds of types of wedding options out there, and you might stroll across an idea you couldn’t have dreamt up. What about a temporary tattoo station? Or a cake made of cheese instead of the usual sponge? These were but two of the innovative stalls there this year!

9. Your wedding will be the coolest anyone has been to

With such insight, you’re bound to stand out from all the other weddings your guests have been to.

10. It will take the stress away

If you think about it, you could actually tick most of your boxes off. You could bag your photographer, venue, dress, cake, musician, caterers all in one day. Imagine that!

Looks like a truly alternative wedding fair Stephanie. Alternative fairs really give so many more, and diverse options to couples.
