Macramé Dreams
Aliss is super creative and talented, she made her own macramé as her altar feature, as well as decorations for the trees and barn.
Neil Gaiman and Fleabag in one ceremony?!
The readings were beautiful and are two of my fave ever pieces of writing on love that I would want at my own wedding. First, ‘All I Know About Love’ by Neil Gaiman and then the Priests Speech from the epic Fleabag. Aliss promised to always make Ben laugh in her contemporary vows and started the job off with a bang! No time to waste in such matters.

My first smoke bomb spectacular!
The adrenaline I experienced when taking this shot was through the roof. I had heard all sorts of scary stories of dresses getting stained, hands getting burnt, and laws of having to use them on private land (meaning it’s hard to get a place to practice), and certain colours being band because it’s an SOS call.
Safety, caution, breathing, taking time, intuition, a little madness and voila! I cannot wait for another!!

Squad goals!! I happened to climb into a tree to get one of these shots! As a result, Aliss and her girls looked like a 90’s girl band and the was worth all of the risk factor.
