What better way to end a dark year? Capturing Anna & Will’s bun in the oven with laidback, lifestyle pregnancy portraits.
A more natural way to capture your bump is to do it in the comfort of your home…
I walk into Anna & Will’s hygge Crouch End home and feel at home right away. They have on a playlist and I end up downloading the whole thing! It turns out it is Anna’s birthing playlist, but it had so many ambient artists that I love adding the most relaxing essence to their cozy space. Music by Ólafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm & Max Richter just to name a few.
My aim here is to capture the spirit of the couple and their surroundings for their pregnancy portraits, so when looking back at these pictures they will be able to travel back in time – and be able to show baby too when she grows up! Scents, sounds, textures & trinkets – the small details we can often forget without some kind of reminder.
My last shoot was of a baby and family portrait session in Costa Del Tottenham, you may enjoy this too!
Anna & Will have had the most amazing love story so far. They have even traveled around Europe in a Camper Van that they kitted out all by themselves. This has been one of my biggest dreams to do, especially after photographing the Two Bohemians in their VW van in the Lake District. Couple goals 100!
Their baby girl Bonnie was born safely just before Christmas Day and I wish them the best of luck on their new journey in parenthood!
