Welcome to this enchanting tale of love and wanderlust of an American couple who chose this vibrant city as the backdrop for their intimate Londonesque elopement.
Join us on a journey through the iconic streets of Bank, the exquisite settings of the Ned, and the sophisticated ambiance of Fortnum and Mason’s inside the Royal Exchange. As a storytelling, laidback luxury wedding photographer, I’m excited to share the magic of this unforgettable Londonesque elopement.
Chapter 1: Getting Ready at the Ned In the heart of the city
The Ned stands as a symbol of timeless elegance and sophistication. The day begins as the couple prepared in the luxurious surroundings of this historic hotel. The Ned’s grandeur provided a perfect canvas for capturing intimate moments, from the bride’s final touches to the groom’s quiet anticipation.
Top tip for the Ned Hotel: You now aren’t always allowed photos in the lobby, even if you are staying there as a guest like we were in these photos.
Chapter 2: The First Look in The Lobby
Anticipation reached its peak as the Nikkole & Brett shared a sentimental emotional first look in the Ned lobby. Surrounded by opulent architecture and a hint of vintage charm, this moment was a photographer’s dream, allowing me to seamlessly blend laidback luxury with the raw emotions of love.
Chapter 3: Outfit Change!
Elopement sessions can be quite lengthy in time depending on what you want to cover in your storytelling. An outfit change can be the a fun idea to add variety and a chance for a caffeine boost to break up the day
Chapter 4: Couple Photos in the Heart of Bank
The vibrant energy of London’s financial district, Bank, served as the perfect backdrop for capturing timeless romantic couple photos in a city that effortlessly blends history with modernity. From iconic architecture to charming cobblestone streets, it is a perfect setting for couples wanting a luxurious Londonesque elopement.
Chapter 5: Sophisticated Elopement Photos whilst Champagne at Fortnum and Mason’s inside the Royal Exchange
To add a touch of luxury to their London elopement, the couple made their way to Fortnum and Mason’s inside the Royal Exchange for a champagne toast. Surrounded by elegance and history, this part of the celebration offered a unique blend of sophistication and intimacy, creating a series of timeless photographs.
Top tip for this location: The staff are so friendly and accommodating! For this photo session, we were lucky and the bar was empty. I did another session here after this and it was pretty full. So don’t go expecting an empty space. Don’t worry, if there are people, they are too busy minding their own business drinking champagne!
Chapter 5: London Underground ride to Liberty in Soho London
Nikkole wanted to pick out some flowers and I knew the most beautiful and iconic spot to pick some! So we caught the underground and headed to Soho
