The Winter Wedding Begins…
The laidback day begins with getting ready at home and some drinks in the The Fox at Oddington.
A Wholesome Ceremony at ancient Church of St Andrew
The wedding takes place with a festive ceremony in the ancient 12th century church called church of St Andrew. The Norman church is located near Salisbury in Wiltshire. Although very an old building, the walls are white, adding a contemporary feel. It really helped with the winter light combined with the small windows. Thank heavens I was allowed to use flash!
The church was filled with candles for ambience, and the ceremony was romantic and wholesome.
Usually, vicars can be strict but to my delight, today I had the best experience with the kindest I think I have ever met! I was very grateful for feeling so welcome and to get the pictures I needed to for the couple.
As to be expected with winter weddings, we had to brave the elements with rain and wind. The light also was setting fast. When booking with me, I do have tips to help you have the best mindset for your winter wedding.
A Cosy, Ambient Ceremony at Daylesford Farm

First of all, the couple and their guests had drinks surrounded by the fire in the tipi. Fairy lights decorate the beams and ceiling providing a magical glow.

Your breath is just taken away when stepping into what feels like a wonderland. All this beauty and a roaring fire. I just combust.
