Conni & Iyad had an intimate Cutty Sark wedding in Greenwich, and chose to do their ceremony at Woolwich Town Hall.
It’s February and it is fresh and windy. Conni & Iyad meet me in Cutty Sark for their couples portraits that they decided to do pre ceremony. Doing your wedding photos before the ceremony means you can be guest orientated following the confetti and group shots.
Cutty Sark
Observatory Hill
On route we walk to the top of Greenwich Hill to see the view of the city of London from above. The city scape is amazing and the all up hill warmed us up well!
Woolwich Town Hall
Onto the Woolwich Town Hall for their ceremony. This was the first time I had photographed at this town hall and I was wowed by the architecture. The registrar was incredibly helpful and sweet! On arrival he said to do what I needed to do to get it right for the couple and that I could move around during the ceremony. Meaning I was able to capture the full narrative of C&D saying I do!
Woolwich Town Hall Tip: I came a week later to photograph another wedding where the registrar was more strict and said for the most part I should stay at the back until called up. So if you are having a Woolwich Town Hall wedding, do check with your registrar as it can mean less angles of the your ceremony story can be taken.
