A Modern Hackney Coffee Co Wedding

A wedding in a coffee shop might seem different but when you keep on scrolling to see what an excellent idea it is!

First of all, before we jump into the Hackney Coffee Co wedding party, I will begin at the start! We got ready in a townhouse right beside Marylebone Town Hall. Getting ready near your ceremony venue is ideal because it is relaxing to know you are just minutes walking distance away so London traffic will not be an issue. All supplier credits with links are listed at the bottom, but as you can see I am pretty obsessed with the beautiful flowers by Gilly Bean Flowers!

Marylebone Town Hall Ceremony

The ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall was full of London essence and exciting for the guests that had come from afar because we all hopped onto an old and very red Routemaster bus, it took the scenic route seeing all the London landmarks on the way to their Hackney Coffee Co Wedding. For the couple shots we went on my signature tour du Marylebone which takes about 20 minutes. The guests drink gin under the cover of the cosy bus whilst we do this.

Hackney Coffee Co Wedding Reception

How cool is this bright and airy venue filled with modern planters and a bazillion luscious plants?! Just mention a Hackney Coffee Co wedding on enquiry and I am all yours! It is a photographers dream because the skylight above makes for flattering lighting.

Nat and Greg booked Canababes as their caterers (find your link below), and I had the luxury of having my own plates and it was delicious. I can’t sing their praises enough and from all the caterers I have tried at weddings, I would be booking these talented ladies for my own if I have one!

For hot summer days, the large folding doors create a giant window delivering plenty of fresh air to keep you and your guests very cool. And in the outdoor area, there’s a cover from the rain so you can be outside without getting wet. It’s not only a stylish venue but a very functional one.

Time to Party!

My other favourite thing about a Hackney Coffee Co Wedding is that there is so much room to dance. There’s also space for your guests to mingle after dinner once the tables are being cleared to form the dance floor, so no difficult logistics, just a perfect transition between events. Nat & Greg book the Distractions Band who I have seen at a few weddings now and they always have the crowd dancing, guests often join in on the mic and it’s just total fun!
